The Baltimore Maritime Museum offers unique spaces and historical settings for your company or group's meetings, parties or luncheons.
USCGC Taney
Built in 1936, the Taney is the last surviving warship from the attack on Pearl Harbor. For fifty years the ship served in the nation's defense. Now, she reminds her more than 130,000 visitors of America's strength and heritage. Come and see why Taney has been called both the "Lucky Lady" and "a most beautiful ship".
The Taney offers two distinctive spaces for meetings and parties. Our largest space, the Fantail Deck, can accommodate 150 people under a new weather resistant awning. This outdoor setting provides a unique shipboard setting as well as excellent Inner Harbor views. Our second space, the Crews Mess Hall, seats 45 around authentic tables. This more intimate space is ideally suited for workshops, luncheons and seminars.
Lightship Chesapeake
For much of its career, the 1930 Lightship Chesapeake stood as an aid to navigation at the entrance to the Chesapeake Bay off Portsmouth, Virginia. It's light guided countless ships to safe harbor through foul weather and fair until 1971.
On the historic decks of Chesapeake your organization can hold parties for up to 100 guests. For smaller meetings, luncheons or retreats we recommend our Officers Wardroom or Crews Mess Hall. The Wardroom accommodates 15 people. The Crews Mess can hold up to 45. This site is perfect for giving your event a unique flair.
Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse
For more than 140 years, the 1854 Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse marked a dangerous shoal at the mouth of the Patapsco River. It stood as a landmark for fishing vessels and ships entering the harbor, and provided a welcoming beacon for thousands of immigrants coming to start a new life.
Now located at the end of Pier 5, this beautiful red lighthouse houses a comfortable and historically engaging space for your event. With an ideal view of the Inner Harbor, we offer this site for up to 50 people standing and 30 seated.
